
A while ago before I went to bed I would have 2 granola bars and a glass of milk so I would be full before bed and sleep very well,I havent been doing that mainly because we haven’t made granola bars in a long time. So I decided to make them again.
In a small sauce pan (on low – medium)put in 1/4 cup of butter (not melted),1/4 cup of honey, 1/3 cup of packed brown sugar,and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla ,stirring as you go.
In a very large bowl mix together 2 cups of oats, and 1 cup of Rice Krispy cereal.
once the sauce pan mixture is complete to look and taste like Carmel,pour it into the Rice Krispy mixture.
Mix it using a rubber spatula
Let it cool down for about an hour and then eat it,if you want it to be perfectly square then let it sit in the refrigerator for about 2 hours,You can add any toppings to go with it but I chose raisins and chocolate chips,Then you are finished!
Melted candy is VERY hot and will burn through your skin if you touch it.
I can’t wait to try making these!! How can I make them without too much sugar??

All you need in sugar is 1/3 a cup to make the Carmel ( it should be packed light brown) 😊
