
One thing me and my family always have are dip days.When you make a snack platter,A few types of dip,and watch TV.It’s really fun!This time they taught me how to make hummus.This was actually my first time trying hummus.And I Really like it.To make it you will need.Tahini, 2 Cans of Chickpeas (drained),Garlic,Lemon juice,Salt and pepper,Cumin, and Olive oil.
Drain 2 Cans of chickpeas in a strainer with cold water running,We removed the skin but you don’t have to,
Put them into a Food processer with,1 teaspoon of garlic,The juice of one lemon,Half a handful of salt,about 1/8 teaspoon pepper,A little bit of cumin,2 big spoonfuls of tahini, and1/4 to 1/2 a cup of olive oil
Mix it together in the food processer until is is smooth and creamy
I would also like to say,All of the ingredients inside are all me and my family’s preference, Everything is to taste,Like the garlic,We like garlicky foods so we added quite a bit of garlic,But someone who does not like garlic does not have to add alot of garlic.
Substitutions: You can replace the olive oil with vegetable oil,You can replace the Tahini with Peanut Butter.
